Calendar of Events

Note: *Starred* items represent Unified We Serve events that will count toward the first 25 hours of the PVSA.  The bolded items are NSCS events, which will count toward any additional PVSA hours.  More events may be added to the calendar throughout the semester.  If you have any ideas of service you would like to do and think the group should do it, too, feel free to make a suggestion.  More information about the PVSA and PACE tutoring is provided at the bottom of the page.

September 

Sept 24th: PACE Tutoring at Northridge Academy from 3:15pm - 4:30pm or 5:00pm M/W/Th
            Volunteer form needs to be filled out at the school.

  
Sept 26th: No PACE Tutoring.  Northridge Academy will not be in session for Yom Kippur.

            Meet at 3:00 (There will be a 15-minute grace period if someone arrives late) in front of the school on September 24th or whichever day you are available.

Sept 30th: Induction at 1:30pm in the Northridge Center 

            PVSA Enrollment forms are due before Oct 1st 

October PACE Tutoring at Northridge Academy from 3:15pm - 4:30pm or 5:00pm M/W/Th

Oct 1^st: All PVSA Enrollment forms are due to be turned in.  No one accepted after this date.

*Oct 4^th: Zumbathon at the Matadome from 5:00pm – 7:00pm

*Oct 14^th: AIDS Walk at 8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069 from 7:00am-3:00pm

            Meet at the G3 parking lot

            Sign-up online at http://www.aidswalk.net/losangeles as CSUN - 0003.  Register for transportation at http://studentvoice.com/csun/aidswalk2012busregistration  Register as a Club or organization and sign up as NSCS.  Don't forget to fundraise and bring an unused tube of toothpaste on the day on the event!
